Just like any new feature, it must first be tested to make sure it works properly. It’s likely the next build will also incorporate this feature, with the first to test it being those in the Windows Insider program. Once green-lit, the feature will most likely be available with the upcoming Anniversary Build this summer. This isn’t a completely brand new idea out of Microsoft. For example, notifications are already available on Skype every time someone sends a message. So far, users like this idea, even suggesting to Microsoft that the app tile or the taskbar should flash in different colors when the notification color changes. Let’s see if this suggestion will be taken into account by Microsoft’s engineers.
