Laptops that run Windows 11 need to have certain specs

Besides the minimum hardware requirements, Windows 11 laptops will also require support for certain features in the near future. Judging from the available Microsoft documentation, the laptops used to run this OS will need to come with Bluetooth 4.0 or above and support Precision Touchpad. These requirements actually apply to laptops, tablets and other handheld devices. Microsoft is also making it mandatory for Windows 11 devices to include either WiFi or Ethernet for internet connectivity. Also, the company recommends users to install Windows 11 on non-rotational storage, such SSDs, for optimal performance. Microsoft clearly notes that Windows 11 devices need to have at least one USB port. Another aspect worth taking into consideration is the fact that Windows 11 devices external PCIe capable ports must support Memory Access Protection, or Kernel DMA Protection and have it enabled by default. So you better keep this in mind when purchasing a device that you want to run Windows 11 on.
