However, we have to agree that Cortana comes with a good amount of capabilities, but it seems that it is not able to set reminders (for now) and it can’t interact with other applications that are installed on the console. Well, it seems that this is about to change in the near future, as Zach Johnson, the person who leads Cortana’s development on Microsoft’s Xbox One console, has confirmed that the virtual assistant will be able to “communicate” with Universal Windows 10 Apps on Xbox One. It is good to know that on computers that run on Windows 10 OS, you can use Cortana to call a taxi via the Uber application and you can also send tweets in Tweetium. In other words, features like these will be found on your Xbox One console sometime in the near future, as soon as they will extend to UWP apps. Cortana is able to do many things and the developers are now forced to bring a good amount of its features to the Xbox One console, or else they will disappoint a good amount of users. And since the sales on Xbox One consoles are not going so well, we are pretty sure that Microsoft doesn’t want to infuriate the low amount of Xbox One owners. You should know that Cortana is already able to turn on your Xbox One console, but soon enough, when it will support UWP apps, you will be able to control lots of things directly from your couch.
