Previously, Facebook users needed to manually type their username and password in the appropriate fields in the beta app for Windows 10. With the updated Facebook Beta, users will now be able to sign in automatically to their account by simply tapping the Log in with Browser button. This works only if a user is currently signed in to Facebook via browser. The update, therefore, removes the manual process of entering Facebook credentials for users.
Updated Facebook Beta is not yet available for some users
The new version of Facebook Beta for Windows 10 is available to download from the Store. However, some users are complaining that they have yet to see the new login option despite installing the latest version of the app. It’s possible that Microsoft’s rollout has not reached specific regions yet. Like other updates, this one will probably take days to complete. It’s not clear, though, how long the process takes to finish. One factor that could contribute to the delay of the update for some users is the diversity of the ecosystem, which needs to cater to both PC and tablet users. We have yet to see when and if Microsoft plans to integrate the desktop and mobile development effort for Windows apps.
