One interesting thing about the FXNOW app, is its Cortana integration. Should you wish, it is possible to launch the app with your voice, though we are not certain if users can use Cortana to search for their favorite shows. The app also supports Live Tiles, and from what we have come to understand, they will show the featured show of the day. Furthermore, the app can adapt to your screen and scale when needed. This is not the only streaming app to be found via the Windows Store. For dub anime lovers, the Funimation app is there, and for those who enjoy movies and TV shows, the Netflix experience is there. What’s interesting is the possibility of Netflix allowing its customers to download content for offline viewing in the future. Here’s the full description of the app: It should be noted that not everyone will be able to take advantage of FXNOW. To use it, you must be subscribed to the following satellite or cable providers:
AT&T U-verse Time Warner Cable DIRECTV Bright House Networks Comcast XFINITY Charter Cox Midcontinent Communications Optimum Suddenlink WOW!
As it stands right now, this is not for cord cutters since users will still need to have a satellite or cable provider account. You can download the FXNOW app right now from the Windows Store. RELATED STORIES YOU NEED TO CHECK OUT:
