Meet Lenovo’s most powerful 2-in-1 device

The Miix 520 definitely has all it takes to become a rival to Microsoft’s Surface. It includes a detachable keyboard, a built-in kickstand, and a dedicated pen that will offer users the opportunity to take full advantage of Windows Ink in Windows 10. This Miix model is the most powerful one that Lenovo has created and can be equipped with 8th gen Intel Core CPUs. The configuration features a quad-core i7 processor paired with 16GB LPDDR4 RAM and 1TB PCIe SSD storage. Its display measures 12.2-inches and features a 1920 x 1200 resolution. It’s also optimized for pen use, with the Lenovo active pen available in the package as well.

The new Lenovo model includes LTE support, something Microsoft will add to its own 2-in-1 device later this year. The Miix 520 also comes with a 3D camera that will capture and create 3D  images for printing, along with the watchband hinge previously available on Yoga convertible laptops. A built-in mic will enable voice commands with Cortana and round out the package. The Miix 520’s backlit keyboard has 1.5mm key travel and precision touchpad, and when the keyboard is attached to the tablet, the entire device weighs just 1.25kg.
