Although a lot has changed lately, some things did remain the same and that is the focus on identifying online vulnerabilities regarding sensitive information. Organizations were already paying serious attention to their online security and thankfully recently Microsoft’s Threat and Vulnerability Management (TVM) capabilities became available for macOS and Linux.

Not only TVM is now available for macOS and Linux but Microsoft is also planning to bring TVM to Android and iOS services, sometime later this summer: What makes TVM great is that it allows for a quick discovery of vulnerabilities within applications as well as misconfigurations across Linux. Once these are discovered, they are available in Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and TVM will remediate any affected devices, be it managed or unmanaged: Microsoft Threat and Vulnerability Management is a great tool that helps IT teams to remediate found vulnerabilities and reduce the risk in organization, thus making it indispensable.
