It even promotes workforce collaboration, thanks to its integration with Office 365 tools like Teams Meetings. As the email client continues to evolve, Microsoft Outlook now offers a pre-installed polling tool.
Poll in Microsoft Outlook
The ability to create polls within Microsoft Outlook has existed for a while now. Thanks to its existing integration with Microsoft Forms, you can insert a poll into an email in Outlook and distribute it to employees across your organization. But the Poll feature was only available as an add-in, previously. Now Microsoft says that Poll comes pre-built into your Outlook mailbox. As such, the feature is ready for use without any extra configurations. As usual, respondents can vote within the email you sent them. Or they can open the poll in a separate browser tab to participate. Moreover, the voting card in the body of the email displays poll outcomes in real time. The latest Microsoft Outlook update should help you get started with online surveys a bit faster. In other related news, Microsoft Forms now supports the sharing of survey form design and results with specific users. The feature minimizes the risk of survey content falling in the wrong hands within your organization. To organizations that use Microsoft Outlook, do you find the pre-installed Poll feature particularly useful? As always, you can leave your feedback or any questions in the comments section below.
