Project Prague features
On its official page, Microsoft lists all the details about Project Prague, the concept behind it, and its development process. Project Prague is referred to as a “cutting-edge, easy-to-use SDK that creates more intuitive and natural experiences by allowing users to control and interact with technologies through hand gestures.” Its necessary requirements include an Intel RealSense SR300 camera. The company says that Project Prague will offer developers and UX designers the possibility to design and to implement customized hand gestures into their application in a painless and quick way. They will be able to define their desired hand poses by using constraints built with plain language. After a gesture is defined and registered in the code, users will be notified when they perform the gestures and they will be able to select an action to assign as a response. Project Prague allows users to control videos, to bookmark webpages, to play music, and send emojis. You can even summon a digital assistant. Like this, daily productivity and communication tasks will become much simpler. Project Prague is available in limited release and all developers interested in testing it out can find out all there is to know about it on Microsoft’s Cognitive Service Labs webpage.
