Redmond is expected to include Genee’s features into its Office 365 services in order to improve the user experience. Microsoft will most likely integrate Genee’s features into its Calendar and Outlook email service, and we’re pretty sure this will make many Office users very happy. Genee will officially shut down on September 1, 2016. After that date, you will no longer be able to create new meetings, but will still be able to access the meetings you’ve already scheduled. Microsoft hasn’t revealed the amount of money it paid to purchase Genee, but the company will most likely offer more information about this app and its Office 365 integration in the next few days.
