Previously, if you were in a group call and host would leave, the entire group would have been disconnected. Not anymore: Now, if the call’s host leaves the group call, the rest of the members will remain connected. This comes as a huge relief to those who use Skype frequently, especially the group call feature, as you can imagine how annoying it must get to get cut off because one person leaves. Another innovation that comes to Skype is the merger of all types of calls under a single tab, specifically the Calls tab. Whether we’re talking about your mobile calls or your Skype calls, you’ll find them all under the Calls tab, which helps tidy up the overall look of your mobile device. Although not a lot of information has surfaced concerning this, Microsoft is also apparently planning to redo the way users can buy Skype Credit to initiate their calls. The voicemail section of Skype is also getting an update, with users now able to leave video recordings instead of the traditional voice recording when their call target doesn’t pick up or is unavailable. This feature will not replace the old voicemail but merely enhance it, as those who prefer the voice option can still do that. RELATED STORIES TO CHECK OUT:
