-a: Remove Read-Only attribute. -c: Clean free space. -p passes: Specifies number of overwrite passes (default is 1). -q: Don’t print errors (Quiet). -s or -r: Recurse subdirectories. -z : Zero free space (good for virtual disk optimization).
