Drivers pertaining to various parts of the system can apparently be the victim of the new Creators Update, which many had anticipated would be a triumph for Microsoft. Unfortunately, the follow up to the Anniversary Edition has a lot of problems which have been addressed yet.

The Creators Update randomly deletes drivers and apps

Here is what_j03_ had to say in regards to this particular driver and app uninstall problem, which could become a critical issue if not fixed: User ConsuelaSaysNoNo chimed in to contribute with their own experience: The update also reseted all my gpu driver settings. So back up/memorize those too. Plus the usual, windows puts defrag ON so turn it off from your SSD etc. little fun. Seriously Microsoft, can you just stop f*cking with our settings and programs? If we have changed some settings in OUR operating system, there’s usually a pretty good reason for it. Or if we have something like a AUDIO DRIVER installed, there’s a pretty good reason for it existing too, you know? Stop changing stuff randomly.. Until Microsoft takes action and provides users with a solution, it would seem that the Creators Update isn’t very viable for them. RELATED STORIES TO CHECK OUT:
