Microsoft seems to have streamlined some of the current privacy features and also introduced new ones with the upcoming Fall Creators Update. Starting from the Fall Creators Update, all users will be offered direct access to Privacy settings in the setup process, made more contextual with a “Learn More” button for each setting.
Apart from giving direct access to the Privacy Settings, the Windows 10 update will also bring app permission prompts which will ask the user for individual app permissions. This is better as opposed to the current way Windows 10 handles it wherein one has to check permissions for individual apps after installing the same. Most of us don’t bother to do this and allow the apps to have more permissions than they actually need. Microsoft also has a couple of Enterprise centric security features in store. For instance, Enterprise Administrators will be able to limit the diagnostic data necessary for Windows Analytics. The Windows Analytics is a tool that aims at making the Windows updates faster and less painful.
