Surprisingly, this is still the second most popular version of Windows. Microsoft launched the update last year in October. We all remember that Microsoft was forced to pull it back soon after it was introduced. The tech giant resolved the bugs and released it back again in November 2018. Microsoft rolled out Windows 10 version 1903 (May 2019 Update) only recently. The company wants to push more and more users to upgrade to the latest version. However, the latest figures prove that Windows 10 version 1803 clearly dominates the market after April 2018 Update with 61% shares.

The Windows 10 October 2018 has seen an increase in its usage from 29.3% to 31.3%. The Redmond giant aims to move most of the Windows 10 users to Windows 10 version 1903.

Windows 10 v1903 gains popularity fast

Apparently, Windows 10 May 2019 Update is the third most popular operating system after Windows v1803 and 1809. AdDuplex stated that 1.4 percent of machines are currently running Windows 10 version 1903.

Windows Insiders ratio decreased

It is worth noting that the number of Windows Insiders decreased from 0.8% to 0.2%. The ratio is not alarming due to the release of Windows 10 May 2019 Update. The percentage drops every time the tech giant releases a new feature update. The number of active Insiders increases when they have access to the RTM build. The chart shows that some users have already installed Windows 10 version 1903. However, it remains to be seen if the adoption rate increases in the next few months or not.
